Ottawa is a great city in which to live. All the advantages of a big city with few of the disadvantages. Great restaurants, a dynamic cultural life with more festivals and more diverse festivals than anywhere else in Canada. The skiing is good and we have the longest skating rink in the world. The air is clean, the bicycle paths well maintained and it is possible to live here and avoid politics if wished.
